Follow this evening’s 2022 Ballon d’Or ceremony live on mancity.com and the official Man City app (UK only).

Presented by French news magazine France Football since 1956, the awards, covering the men's and women's game, are among the most prestigious in world football.

And City’s exploits across the 2021/22 campaign mean we boast a strong representation across several awards.

Indeed, Joao Cancelo, Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva are among the 30-player shortlist for the men’s Ballon d’Or prize.

Ederson is also in contention for the Yashin Trophy, awarded to the best performing goalkeeper in world football.

And viewers in the UK can find out if any of our City stars are successful by following our coverage of the event from 19:25 (UK).

Presenter Natalie Pike joined in the City Football Academy studio by Women’s defender Kerstin Casparij, former winger Shaun Wright-Phillips and YouTuber and City social commentator Steven McInerney.

Hosted at Paris’ Theatre du Chatelet, the Yashin Trophy is set to be announced at 20:23 (UK), while the Men’s winner follows at 20:49.

As well as a Ballon d’Or-themed quiz during the broadcast, viewers will also be able to send in questions and comments for the panel to discuss between each category.

Good luck to each of our City nominees!
