A match that had a bit of everything.

Nothing quite as pleasurable AND painful as going through in the cup via a penalty shootout!

Newcastle United starting so well, Joe Willock in the thick of it.

Scoring after less than 20 seconds and then only two minutes later the former Arsenal midfielder helped set up Sandro Tonali, only for the keeper to save in a one on one.

Sadly Joe Willock forced off not long after, here’s hoping it isn’t serious.

However, Newcastle didn’t relent and almost doubled the lead through Almiron, as the keeper saved again.

A bit of a scruffy equaliser as Forest launched yet another long throw into the box.

However, United finished the stronger and Lewis Hall forced another fine save from the home keeper.

It was straight to penalties with no extra-time.

The drama of the night complete as the fifth and final penalties saw Forest launch theirs an incredible height over the bar, whilst super cool Sean Longstaff slotted home superbly.
