Ahead of AC Milan’s game against Red Star, there have been some welcomed faces at Milanello, and there has also been one absent one.
Tomorrow’s game against Red Star will be huge in the grand scheme of Milan’s season. Winning could be the key to a place among the top eight in the Champions League league phase, and anything else would add immense pressure to an already bubbling pot.
For this reason, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been available for the squad this morning, but he has also spent time watching training at Milanello with a familiar face – Thiago Silva.
However, Paulo Fonseca has also been without a face who could have been involved tomorrow: Noah Okafor. The Swiss winger has often been rotated with Rafael Leao, and tomorrow could have been a good opportunity to make a statement about his ability.
Whether there is an issue will probably revealed later today, but one would imagine that Leao will be likely to start on Wednesday as a result with Okafor not seen in training this morning.
