Many fans turned up at Milanello today for AC Milan’s first training session of the pre-season. In fact, there were rumours of around 5k fans present and Paolo Maldini, as well Stefano Pioli, thanked the fans afterwards.

It was a wholesome first training session of the pre-season as the players had the support of the fans and the top management. Maldini and Pioli decided to thank the fans afterwards, with the whole squad present to greet the fans up close.

Paolo Maldini: “Thank you for this support. I don’t have many words to say to you, last year the guys did extraordinary things but now it’s time to put that aside. When everyone arrives we will be focused only and exclusively on next season’s goals. We want the second star. We hope to entertain you as we did last year.”

Stefano Pioli: “We must remain united like last year’s extraordinary group, even in difficulties and always believe in the players. Thank you all for your support. I can always count on it and you can be sure of our commitment.”
