Barcelona draw away from home to Levante in an absolute thriller towards the end of La Liga, in what was a disastrous second half for Ronald Koeman’s team, as our title hopes have now finally been diminished. With so much to discuss for this one, check out our full match review below:

Barcelona were in cruise control at half time, having found themselves 2-0 up thanks to goals from Lionel Messi and Pedri, and perhaps should have even had a third before disaster ensued. But it was the introduction of Sergi Roberto at right centre-back for the second half, coupled with the team’s sleepy attitude that made this another painful night for Barcelona fans, as Levante deservedly got their point.

Big, big questions will now be asked of Ronald Koeman following this defeat, and his continuity next season seems even less likely every passing day. Decisions such as the constant introduction of Sergi Roberto, especially at centre-back, are simply unforgivable for a Barcelona coach, and his in-game management along with lack of tactical nous makes things very difficult for the Dutchman to remain next season.
