Laporta spoke at the Nou Camp on Monday to discuss the state of the club and offer more explanation as to why Lionel Messi could not be secured to a new contract.
The president, among several points, revealed their current wage is 103 per cent of Barca's total income, admitting driving that down is key to the health of the club.
