Goals from Alvaro Morata and Tijjani Reijnders allowed Milan to clinch an important 3-0 win against Empoli on Saturday evening. Although the fog was a bit disturbing for us watching, we still got to see some very good goals.
Morata broke a two-month goal drought with proper striker’s instincts inside the box, making the most of a rebound in the box. Tijjani Reijnders then did the same, firing on the half-volley to double the lead, even if it was a bit difficult to see due to the fog.
In the second half, Reijnders killed the game with the third goal of the game, his second, as he ran towards the defence and picked out an opening between the defender’s legs. Tammy Abraham nearly made it four goals at the end, but the scores remained 3-0 as the referee blew the full-time whistle.
In the video below, you can take a look at the highlights from the game. Empoli had zero shots on target, but did manage to hit the crossbar through Youssef Maleh at the start of the second half. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable win for Milan.
