De Jong produced the winner for the 1-0 triumph at LaLiga rivals Mallorca. It was a rare goal for the on-loan Sevilla striker, who has been under pressure since his arrival on deadline day in August.

De Jong admitted some relief after getting on the scoresheet - and some regret that his bicycle kick effort also didn't go in on the day.

Xavi, meanwhile, was proud of his team after going to Mallorca with nine players called up from the B squad due to senior player absences.
