Barcelona return to La Liga action to take on Granada on Monday night at the Camp Nou, in a bid to return to winning ways following their humiliating defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League midweek. Barcelona know that victory in Monday night’s fixture against Granada is absolutely imperative, for both coach Ronald Koeman’s survival and for their La Liga title bid.
Barcelona will once more be without star names in attack, and will be adding Jordi Alba and Pedri to their injury list for this one, although such absences open up spots for the likes of Alejandro Baldé and Pablo Gavi. Philippe Coutinho is also expected to make his first start of the season, as Sergino Dest is also expected to return in defence.
In regards to Granada, ‘Los Nazaríes will feel as if they can hurt Barcelona at the Camp Nou in their current state, as they did last campaign, although they have started poorly so far this season in La Liga, under new coach Robert Moreno.
