Barcelona president Joan Laporta opted to keep his cards close to his chest, when drawn on the potential departure of Fermín López before the transfer deadline.
This of course comes amid the ongoing push for the 22-year-old’s signature on the part of Premier League outfit Chelsea.
Barcelona have on Sunday made the trip to the Spanish capital of Madrid, for a La Liga meeting with Rayo Vallecano.
Ahead of the upcoming kick-off at Vallecas, the Blaugrana’s board, in turn, sat down for lunch with their Rayo counterparts.
Whilst making his way into the Can Lampazas restaurant, the aforementioned Joan Laporta was therefore inevitably asked for the latest on transfer-linked Fermín’s future.
The Spanish patron, however, opted not to comment, completely ignoring the questions of the awaiting media presence.
Check out footage of the exchange, provided by the cameras of Diario Sport, below:
Fermín will of course be hopeful of playing his part this evening, as Hansi Flick’s Barca set out to keep track of early pace-setters Real Madrid atop the La Liga table.
