Lucas Bergvall put in an impressive display for Djurgarden on Sunday ahead of his summer switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham secured the signing of the talented youngster in January as they beat the likes of Barcelona to his signature.

Bergvall will link up with his new Tottenham teammates this summer as he continues to rack up valuable first-team minutes in Sweden.

And if Spurs fans weren’t excited about the arrival of the talented youngster beforehand, his latest performance should offer a sneak peek into what he’ll bring to north London.

Bergvall scores wondergoal for Djurgarden

Bergvall was in fine form on Sunday as Djurgarden thrashed Nordic United 5-0 in Sweden.

The midfielder ended the game with two goals and an assist. But it was his second goal that is doing the rounds on social media at the moment.

He picked up the ball inside just inside his half and produced a Lionel Messi-esque run.

Bergvall beat a total of five players before producing a composed finish and placing the ball past the goalkeeper.

Spurs seem to have picked up another gem in Bergvall and fans will undoubtedly be eager to see the youngster in action next season.

The club boast a decent record of late when it comes to identifying up-and-coming talent, with Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie proof of that.

While there remains the need to bring in a new midfielder this summer, technical director Johan Lange has already claimed that Bergvall will be part of the first-team squad next season.

Bergvall may not be ready to feature regularly next season but it will only benefit him to train alongside Tottenham’s first-team with a view to forcing his way into the side.

But for the time being, the youngster will continue his development in Sweden and after his latest display, Tottenham fans will undoubtedly be keeping a keen eye on his progress.
