Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Warren Zaïre-Emery (17) and Marquinhos (29) have returned to first-team training as both players edge closer to their returns.

Zaïre-Emery is seemingly ahead of schedule. After suffering a sprained ankle just minutes into his France debut in mid-November, the PSG midfielder was ruled out until the end of the year. However, the club revealed that he participated in almost the entirety of Wednesday’s training session, and there is therefore hope that the Titi Parisien could feature again before the winter break.

According to Le Parisien, there is a small chance of seeing him before the winter break and there is a small chance that he could feature in the squad to face Borussia Dortmund later this month.

Captain Marquinhos also trained with the first team on Wednesday. He was also injured whilst on international and he has since been recovering from what initially looked to be a minor hamstring injury. However, he has also not featured since mid-November, but having been involved in almost the full session at Le Campus, he is nearing a return.

PSG face FC Nantes, Borussia Dortmund, Lille OSC and FC Metz, before the winter break, which begins on 20th December and runs until early January.
