Liverpool have not genuinely been linked with Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.

However, Twitter account @Watch_LFC asked the Anfield faithful if they would like to see Tielemans at Anfield.

Plenty of Liverpool supporters would like to see the club make a move for the 23-year-old.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Tielemans is a very good player. The midfielder is averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.07 in the Premier League this season, which highlights that he is performing.

Tielemans has also scored four goals and registered two assists in the 2020-21 Premier League season.

However, it would cost Liverpool quite a bit of money to sign the 23-year-old. Tielemans’ current contract does not expire until the summer of 2023, which means that Leicester City could demand a hefty transfer fee for the midfielder.

Tielemans’ current market value is €50 million. Due to Tielemans’ contract situation, Liverpool would be forking out a fee of around €50 million if they wanted to sign the youngster sometime soon.
