Mauro Icardi’s wife and agent Wanda Nara is set for another season appearing on Italian primetime television, as Gazzetta dello Sport explained this morning.

Wanda is on the verge of extending her deal as a guest on Mediaset’s weekly program ‘Tiki Taka’, which airs every Sunday night with an array of footballing ‘experts’.

Inter’s relationship with Icardi deteriorated beyond repair during the second half of last season as she continued to make impertinent comments about the club.

This does not appear to have persuaded Wanda to take a step back, although there is little chance of Inter rebuilding their bridges with Icardi now anyway.

Icardi was stripped of the club captaincy in February a matter of days after Wanda accused the striker’s teammates of not providing enough service up front.

Before that, she had also claimed the couple were forced to block a move to Juventus last summer, before advising Luciano Spalletti to play Icardi in a front two alongside Lautaro Martinez more often.

Mediaset are said to be ’embarrassed’ at the prospect of a legal case emerging between Wanda and Inter, which could become a possibility if Icardi were frozen out of Antonio Conte’s squad completely.
