Wales opened their UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Qualifying League B Group 4 games in style with a 4-0 win over Croatia at Wrexham.
Jess Fishlock scored in the first five minutes of either half, played in by Rachel Rowe for the first. The second came when she took down a ball over the top and chipped the keeper, before nodding in the rebound off the crossbar.
That started a rush of three goals in six minutes, with Rowe squeezing a shot into the net and Angharad James making it 4-0 by sliding in to turn home a Gemma Evans ball from an acute angle.
