Following Wales’ Euro 2024 heartbreak, the nation’s football association have given their backing to manager Rob Page.
The pressure was on the man in charge after FA officials insisted last year that his situation would be considered if they did not make the European Championship.
And Tuesday night’s penalty shootout defeat to Poland in Cardiff means they will not go to Germany this summer but Page is set to remain as boss.
“The FAW can confirm Rob Page is their manager for the forthcoming campaign in accordance with his contract,” president Steve Williams stated, per BBC Sport Wales.
“Rob is the manager. His contract runs to the end of the World Cup and that’s how we continue to work.”
One man whose future is more uncertain is 81-cap midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who played no part against Poland as his side came up short in their tournament bid.
