West Ham United could face an issue landing top full-back target Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with his wages higher than previously thought, according to ExWHUemployee.

The Hammers are looking to bring in a full-back this summer and appeared to have narrowed down their options to Manchester United’s Wan-Bissaka and Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters.

While West Ham remain keen on Walker-Peters, it is suggested that a deal is unlikely, with the club now working on the Wan-Bissaka option.

However, his wages, combined with agent fees, could be an issue in any deal.

Wan-Bissaka is widely claimed to take home £90,000 per week at Old Trafford, but his wages are higher than that number.

That presents a likely issue for West Ham and the jury is out on whether it can be overcome.

Talks are nevertheless ongoing with Manchester United about a possible deal for the right-back to move to the London Stadium.

Wan-Bissaka made a total of 30 appearances across all competitions for Manchester United over the course of last season and chipped in with three assists in the process.
