Juve started on the front-foot, and perhaps should have found the opener in first 15 minutes were it not for some heroic defending from the Salernitana defence.

They were rewarded for their heroics after the half-hour mark as well, as Giulio Maggiore collected the ball on the top of the box before firing home a superb shot to break the deadlock.

The game was flipped on its head after the break however, as Maggiore was shown red after his second yell0w-card-worthy challenge, seeing the hosts go down to ten men with more than 30 minutes remaining.

It did not take Max Allegri’s men long to take advantage of the extra man, as second-half sub Samuel Iling-Junior left his mark on the match with a superb strike into the roof of the net to level the scoreline.

While it looked like the match would fizzle out with honours even, Dušan Vlahović popped up in stoppage time to snatch the win for Juve in dramatic fashion.
