Agents for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic are refusing to take calls from the club about offers from England.

The Daily Star says Vlahovic and his team are said to be ignoring calls from Fiorentina chief Joe Barone as Arsenal try and secure their key January transfer target in the last week of the window.

The Serbian international forward appeared to wave goodbye to supporters following his 20th goal of the season against Genoa last Monday - and wasn't included in their squad to take on Cagliari on Sunday.

Although that absence wasn't thought to do with his future at the club, there could be a rift forming with Barone growing frustrated with Vlahovic's agent.

Amid those concerns, Arsenal are thought to have bid £50.1million for the 21-year-old with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of favour and Alexandre Lacazette out of contract in the summer.

Barone told DAZN: "We've not received any official bid for Vlahovic as things stand.

"We're open to discuss and negotiate – but we want Vlahovic and his agent to be clear on the future, as they're not answering. We need to talk about it.

"[We want] Clarity from the player and his entourage. Fiorentina have a future, a group, a support and a city that must focus on this season."
