Vitoria winger Marcus Edwards is a confirmed target for Sporting CP.

Sporting president Frederico Varandas admits they're interested in the former Tottenham starlet.

He told CNN: "Edwards has interested Sporting and the coach, but he has been of interest for some time and we have not made a formal proposal.

"There will hardly be any changes in the market. I would be very happy if we keep this squad.
