The Girona presented Vitor Reis this Tuesday in a press conference held in Montilivi with the participation of the Club's president, Delfí Geli, and the sporting director, Quique Cárcel.

Geli wanted to welcome the footballer and wished him "all the luck" in this new stage, highlighting that he hopes he will "continue his excellent progression."

For his part, Quique Cárcel explained that Reis's arrival was made possible thanks to the collaboration with Manchester City: "When the opportunity to start the loans with City arose, we began working to bring Vitor here. He has a very important future, and we want him to help us take a step forward."

Vitor Reis expressed his excitement and eagerness to play a key role: "I am very happy to be here and very motivated to have a great season. At my age, I need to play and accumulate minutes. In Manchester, Pep Guardiola told me this was the best decision I could make."

The young Brazilian footballer recalled that "signing for Manchester City has been a dream since I was a child." He also highlighted the level of the competition that will begin this Friday: "LaLiga is a very big championship with some of the best players in the world." Additionally, he revealed that he spoke with his compatriot Savinho before making the decision: "He told me he was very happy here and said very good things about the Club."

Reis has already had his first minutes wearing the red-and-white jersey in the friendly match against Napoli: "I felt very comfortable and satisfied with what I did and with the team's play." And he made his commitment clear: "I am one hundred percent focused on Girona."
