We already know the Liverpool defender uses his pace excellently, enabling Liverpool to play a high line and help get the team up the pitch. However, we didn’t realise just how fast he is.
According to stats from BT Sport, the centre-back was the quickest player on the pitch as the Reds beat PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday.

While the Liverpool attack is now famous for hitting teams with their electrifying pace, it seems the defence can match them in the sprint stakes with Andrew Robertson and Joe Gomez also outrunning the frontmen in the Anfield clash.
