Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior continued his recovery programme on Thursday and has been ruled out of this weekend’s Athletic Bilbao clash.

According to AS, the Brazilian is not attempting to accelerate the recovery process of his right ankle injury he suffered against Ajax and should be available next week.

The 18-year-old is will be 50-50 to play against Getafe, meaning he will have just three or four matches to impress Tite and earn a place on Brazil’s Copa America squad.
