Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior missed training after suffering an “anomalous” COVID-19 test, according to head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Vinícius was forced to skip Thursday’s session after receiving odd results and remains doubtful for their upcoming clash against Alavés.

Madrid already have striker Luka Jović in self-isolation after being in contact with a friend who tested positive for coronavirus.

“The doctors informed me that the test went badly and that we need to repeat it,” Zidane told reporters.
