Real Madrid entertained Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the sixth minute thanks to Vinicius Jr.’s effort. Jude Bellingham doubled his team’s advantage in the 35th minute as Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Bellingham killed the game off in the 54th minute before Rodrygo added another goal just seven minutes later. The contest ended with Real Madrid earning a dominant 4-0 win at the Bernabeu.

Mendy kept things solid at the back and was replaced in the 76th minute.

CM: Federico Valverde – 7.5/10

Valverde was a decent contributor at the centre of the park and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
