Vini Jr. Gets 8, Rudiger With 7 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Last-Gasp Win Vs Bayern Munich

Real Madrid entertained Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win and book a place in the UEFA Champions League final. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Alphonso Davies finally broke the deadlock in the 68th minute. However, Joselu equalised for Real Madrid in the 88th minute before going on to score a dramatic winning goal in injury time. The contest finished with Carlo Ancelotti’s men earning a last-gasp 2-1 win in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the match against Bayern Munich.
GK: Andriy Lunin – 7/10
Lunin made a few solid saves at the back but didn’t do enough to keep a clean sheet tonight.
RB: Dani Carvajal – 7/10
He performed his defensive duties well but struggled to influence the game going forward.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7/10
Rudiger cleared the danger when he could and was good on the ball. He ended the game with an assist to his name.
CB: Nacho – 7/10
He did his fair share of defending and was a threat at the other end as well.

LB: Ferland Mendy – 6/10
Mendy was accurate with his passing but struggled to make an impact in the Bayern half.
RM: Federico Valverde – 6.5/10
He worked hard at both ends of the field but failed to influence the game in the final third.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 6/10
Tchouameni earned possession back once and was tidy with his passing.
CM: Toni Kroos – 7/10
The German talent managed to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates.
LM: Jude Bellingham – 7/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and was substituted late in the game.
ST: Rodrygo – 6.5/10
Rodrygo caused some headaches for the Bayern defenders but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Vinicius Jr. – 8/10
Vinicius Jr. made a lot of excellent runs with the ball but there was no goal for him tonight.
CM: Luka Modric – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
CM: Eduardo Camavinga – 6.5/10
He added some bite and steel to Ancelotti’s midfield.
Joselu scored two late goals to win the game for Real Madrid.
