Polite reminder that you do not want to get on the wrong side of Vincent Kompany.
On Sunday, Kompany’s Anderlecht hosted Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League and at one point, one of the home supporters behind the goal threw a flare onto the pitch, almost causing an injury to former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
But the Anderlecht player-manager was having none of it, and made his feelings very clear.
Two goals from Hans Vanaken saw Mignolet’s Brugge come from behind to win 2-1 – a result which leaves them 10 points clear at the top of the table.
Anderlecht, meanwhile, are languishing in 9th place.
