Real Madrid reportedly renewed contacts with Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies this week, but the Canada international also has an offer on the table from his current club. The arrival of Vincent Kompany might complicate matters for Los Blancos though.

Bayern have also started discussions again with Davies’ agent, and MD cite several German sources claiming that new coach Kompany has asked the Bavarian giants to find a way to renew his deal. If they cannot agree a new deal, Bayern will look to sell Davies this summer, but Real Madrid will try to negotiate their €50m asking price down.

Ultimately it will come down to Davies’ decision, and like Leny Yoro, the 23-year-old knows that he can earn more money away from Real Madrid. However it does seem that if he turns down Bayern’s contract offers, Los Blancos will move for him this season or next.
