Vincent Janssen’s three-year spell at Tottenham could be coming to an end with a report that Schalke are interested in the striker.

Janssen has endured a nightmare time in north London since his arrival in 2016.

The Netherlands international has netted just two Premier League goals in that time, and spent the 2017/18 campaign out on loan at Fenerbahce.

Janssen stuck it out at Spurs last term but barely featured for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, even in spite of the fact that Harry Kane missed a large chunk of the season with an ankle injury.

But it looks as if the 25-year-old could now be saying goodbye to Spurs with a story in German outlet Ruhr24 claiming that Schalke are keen on his services.

With just a year left on his contract it’s believed that Janssen could cost as little as €10m.
