Villarreal signing Kiko Femenia: I learned a lot with Watford | OneFootball

Former Watford fullback Kiko Femenia is excited to be back in Spain with Villarreal.

The former Barcelona and Real Madrid wing-back was presented to the local media today.

Femenia declared: "Thanks to the club for the opportunity to be here, I hope to adapt as soon as possible and we hope to have a very good season.

"When I spoke with my agent, I didn't believe that Villarreal wanted me. Being able to play for a club like Villarreal means everything to me. I thank Fernando (Roig) for having brought me here and I hope to make the most of it and be happy, which is how things turn out the best.

"It is exciting to fight to be among the top four. However, the important thing is to focus on the first game against Valladolid and try to win it to start in the best possible way.

“In England I have learned a lot, I have been through many coaches from whom I have learned many things. I am a much more complete player than the one who left Deportivo Alavés."
