Villarreal set to sign Toulouse’s Logan Costa in €18m deal | OneFootball

Toulouse FC and Villarreal have agreed an €18m fee for the transfer of Logan Costa (23), according to Le Parisien. The centre-back is set to travel to Spain in order to complete the deal.

Toulouse have raised plenty of funds this summer, already receiving significant fees for Christian Mawissa, who has joined AS Monaco, and Thijs Dallinga, who has joined Bologna. They are now also set to cash in on Costa. Having joined Le TéFéCé for a meagre €500k fee from Stade de Reims back in 2021, Costa has gone on to assert himself as a first-choice pick at centre-back in recent seasons.

Last season, the Cape Verde international made 38 appearances in all competitions, including seven in the UEFA Europa League campaign. However, he is now set to depart after Villarreal saw their €18m bid accepted by the Ligue 1 side. He is now set to travel to Spain imminently in order to conclude the deal.
