Viktoria Plzen Coach Michael Bilek: “Incredible To Be In Champions League Group With Inter, Bayern Munich & Barcelona” | OneFootball

Viktoria Plzen head coach Michal Bilek feels that his team have found themselves in very impressive surroundings even though they will have a big challenge to face in the form of a Champions League group containing Inter, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona.

Speaking in a press conference after his team’s victory over Dynamo Ceske Budejovice, the coach gave his thoughts on how it feels to be drawn in a group with some of Europe’s heavy hitters, while he also spoke about their approach and about knowing how much of a challenge they face.

Inter drew what many consider to be the “group of death” alongside Bayern and Barcelona, although Viktoria will hope to have their say as the fourth team in the group.

Few would consider the Czech outfit to be anything other than underdogs, but this won’t mean that they will not fight for or be capable of obtaining results against any of their opponents in the group.

Bilek said that “I’ve talked with the guys about how incredible it feels to be in a group like this, but the league is also important.”
