In his press conference today Thomas Tuchel confirmed that Ben Chilwell’s injury is an ACL tear, extremely bad news for the player and for Chelsea.
But Tuchel also said that the left back was “very positive” despite all that – because things aren’t as bad as they looked at first, and he had responded well to the treatment so far.

There is a chance he won’t need surgery after all – and that can only be a good thing. Fingers crossed for Ben.
