Yokohama F. Marinos striker Ado Onaiwu today scored a hat-trick for the Japanese national team against Kyrgyzstan in the space of just 6 minutes in his second appearance for the national side since making his debut last week as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Serbia. Today was the Celtic linked striker’s full international debut.
As we told you at the weekend the 25 year old is available on a pre-contract and has been linked with Celtic following the arrival of his former manager Ange Postecoglou to the club.
“Japan 3-1 ahead against Kyrgyzstan in World Cup qualification, Ado Onaiwu scoring a six minute hat-trick before Mirlan Murzaev pulled one back on the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot. Really liked Onaiwu’s third goal it was a really nice finish placed it perfectly,” Josh Bunting tweeted.
“European future for the Yokohama Marinos player. It sure ends up at Celtic with Ange Postecoglou,” is the twitter translation on this one…
