Tuesday night was a special occasion for Vinicius Jr. as he captained the Brazil national team in their friendly encounter against Spain, at Real Madrid’s home, Santiago Bernabeu.

The 23-year-old forward came into the game after going through an emotional press conference during which he broke into tears while speaking about his battle against racism.

So leading Brazil in the ‘One Skin’ friendly, donning jackets with the slogan “One Skin, One Identity,” aimed against racism, was a proud moment for Vinicius no doubt.

Even though the game ended in a 3-3 draw, Vinicius Jr. did not have the best of outings as his Real Madrid teammate, Dani Carvajal, did a good job of keeping the winger quiet on the night.

Despite that, when taken off in the 71st minute, the Brazilian forward received a huge applause and an ovation from the crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, after the game, Vinicius was spotted getting into a heated argument with Atletico Madrid and Spain striker Alvaro Morata.

It appeared like the former Real Madrid striker, who was booed by the fans at the Bernabeu after his substitution, was mouthing off someone in the stands.

Vinicius took umbrage to that and went to confront the Atletico Madrid man, leading to a heated exchange with several others getting involved to separate the duo.

Before that, the Brazilian had a run-in with another Spanish player, Aymeric Laporte, while on the pitch as he pushed the ex-Man City defender prior to being taken off.

Real Madrid and Spain forward Joselu, who had asked Vinicius to curb his behaviour in an interview last week, spoke with the 23-year-old after the game to try and get an explanation for what went down.
