Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has made his feelings towards the Super League announcement by Liverpool and other top clubs clear by claiming it is ‘unacceptable’.

The Austrian coach says the plans worry him, but he is backing the Premier League to step up and find the right solution whilst adding that he fully agrees with the statement they released. UEFA, with help from the Premier League and other organisations, released a statement in opposition to the Super League as they attempt to thawrt the efforts of the 12 clubs involved.

Hasenhuttl claims not even the fans of the 12 clubs involved in the proposed competition want it to go ahead, although it is impossible to speak for every single person out there.

Liverpool confirmed on Sunday night that they will be one of the 12 founding members of the Super League. AC Milan, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Inter, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham are the other 11 clubs involved.

Football Daily shared the clip on Twitter, with Hasenhuttl offering his thoughts on the ‘unacceptable’ Super League announcement over the weekend.
