Two up-and-coming members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona were today the recipients of prestigious individual accolades.

The players in question? Lamine Yamal, and Pau Cubarsí.

Both winger Lamine, and defender Cubarsí, have of course been lighting up the Spanish football landscape for some time now.

Despite still being just 16 and 17 respectively, La Masia’s latest pair of gems have played an absolutely pivotal role in getting Barcelona’s domestic campaign back on track.

Across the month of March, both featured in all four of the Blaugrana’s La Liga outings, Cubarsí from the off on each occasion, too.

And, in their efforts across these outings, Lamine and Cubarsí did enough to secure for themselves impressive individual prizes.

The former was awarded La Liga Goal of the Month for a moment of magic against Mallorca, whilst his teammate secured the honour of being named U23 Player of the Month in Spain’s top-flight.

On Friday, Lamine and Cubarsí were in turn handed the latest additions to their respective silverware cabinets, footage of which can be seen below:
