Chelsea were somewhat lucky to beat Zenit St Petersburg at Stamford Bridge tonight, but they got the job done in the end.
In attack they had no fluidity, but they stayed strong at the back, and that meant that they needed just one great goal to get the three points.

That was exactly how Ruud Gullit and Nigel De Jong saw it on BeinSport, and NDJ hailed manager Thomas Tuchel for the display of defensive soundness – “Tuchel is a master” he roared.
