That took the France international’s tally up to seven goals in seven Serie A rounds, the same as Retegui in what is already a fiery Capocannoniere race.

His only previous hat-trick in Europe’s top competitions was for Borussia Monchengladbach against Oberachern in the German Cup on July 31, 2022.
