Nine years ago, Thiago Alcantara played against Manchester United in a pre-season friendly.
David de Gea was in goal for Manchester United on the night. Thiago decided to take a shot from range, and it paid off. The ball ended up finding the top-right corner.

Liverpool face Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday. Thiago is yet to score for Liverpool.
But, as you can see in the footage below, the Spaniard is more than capable.
Hopefully Thiago can beat De Gea again on Sunday, as it would go a long way to helping Liverpool secure three points.
