The 2018/19 season was full of moments to remember in the Champions League from the very beginning. Drawn in a group with both PSG and Napoli, the Reds had an uphill battle before reaching the knockout stages in the final game of the group against Napoli. It was the first game, however, that had the most drama, as the Reds beat PSG 3-2 at Anfield.
Having taken a 2-0 lead, the Reds were pegged back to 2-2, courtesy of goals from Thomas Meunier and an 83rd minute equaliser from Kylian Mbappe.

Not to be left out of the late drama, however, Roberto Firmino responded with a moment of brilliance from the bench, gliding past Marquinhos before firing into the bottom corner in the 91st minute to hand Liverpool all three points against PSG.
