In 2016, Liverpool faced Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarter-finals.
In the dying moments of the second leg at Anfield, the game was level on aggregate, but Borussia Dortmund led on away goals.
Liverpool needed one more goal to progress. With that being the case, James Milner decided to cross the ball into the box, and Dejan Lovren headed home the winning goal for Liverpool.
Liverpool won the clash 4-3 on aggregate. Lovren’s goal is one of our favourite Liverpool moments.
There is nothing better than seeing Liverpool score a winning goal in stoppage time.
