Thiago Silva couldn’t play tonight because of his thigh injury, but the Brazilian was living every moment from high up in the stands above the dugout.

The defender spent the second half on his feet in the gangway shouting instructions down to the pitch, and when Emerson Palmieri sealed the win late on, the former PSG man celebrated so hard with the suspended Jorginho and Mason Mount there was a heart stopping moment when he almost tumbled down the stairs.
