Video: Thiago fist pumps the air after tackling N’Golo Kante | OneFootball

Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara was captured fist pumping the air after successfully tackling Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante on the weekend.

We loved that Thiago was pleased to successfully complete the tackle at Stamford Bridge. It highlights that he values that particular aspect of the game.

We have seen Reds boss Jurgen Klopp fist pump the air because of a tackle in the past, so it would be fair to assume that the German would loved to have seen Thiago getting stuck in against Chelsea.

Thiago is obviously a very good passer of the football. His pass completion rate in 24 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich last season was 90.5 percent.

However, WhoScored.com believe that Thiago is also a “strong” tackler. With that being the case, we should see Thiago complete plenty more tackles this season.
