Liverpool forward Sadio Mane took the time to surprise a massive Reds fan and local volunteer, Lee Swan this week with a conversation on FaceTime.

Lee, who is a volunteer at The Florrie, was given a great shock as his friend managed to get Liverpool to have Mane FaceTime him and chat all things Liverpool and volunteering – with Mane being his favourite player.

Tim, who runs The Florrie, sent a letter to Liverpool explaining all the incredible work Lee does around the city with his volunteer work and the club decided to reward him with a heartwarming remote conversation with Mane.

Liverpool’s official Twitter account shared the video, which goes through Lee’s day and shows his talk with the Senegal international.

It was a heartwarming moment to see Lee’s reaction to Mane being on the screen. 2020 has been a tough year for so many people, due to Covid-19, so to see content like this is terrific and, hopefully, Liverpool can do more things like this in the future.
