Video: Roberto Carlos Discusses Neymar With French Media Outlet | OneFootball

Brazilian football legend Roberto Carlos interviewed with Onze Mondial where they discussed Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. The defender spoke about how the 29-year-old has become a critical part of the capital club since arriving from Barcelona in 2017.

Roberto Carlos stated that he hopes Neymar can continue performing at a high level for the French giants in Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League competitions. The former footballer concluded that he’s happy for his fellow compatriot in this venture to France.

“Neymar becomes a reference to PSG. It’s clear that playing with Mbappé makes things easier. Neymar is a great player, he is improving game after game,” Roberto Carlos said.

“I hope he will continue in this dynamic, in Ligue 1 as in the Champions League. Because one day perhaps, PSG will imitate a team like Chelsea and will go to the end in an important competition like the Champions League. I am happy for Neymar, for the way he plays, and the joy he gives off while playing. I’m sure the French are very happy with him.”
