Stephen Clemence, son of the late Ray Clemence, has revealed that his father had loads of respect for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.
He reveals that Ray thought Alisson was a great goalkeeper and also thanked Liverpool, and Alisson, for their touching tributes to his father in their recent match against Leicester.
Clemence recently passed away at the age of 72 and played over 400 games for Liverpool during his playing career, helping the club win a myriad of trophies, from UEFA Cups, to Divison One titles.
TalkSport posted the clip on Twitter, with Stephen speaking about the respect his father had for Alisson.
Alisson donned a retro Liverpool shirt during his pre-game warm-up to pay tribute to the late Liverpool great, along with placing a wreath down behind the goal. It was a touching moment as Alisson and the rest of the goalkeeping department stood in silence in honour of Clemence.
