Raheem Sterling made his Chelsea debut last night, playing the second half of the friendly against Charlotte.
He didn’t get long to impress in a sluggish side, but the winger created more than some of his teammates and brought some fresh impetus to the group out on the pitch in North Carolina.

His manager Thomas Tuchel was certainly pleased, noting that the only times he saw “accelerations” in his team’s play they were coming from Sterling.
Plenty more of this please! Let’s hope his teammates get on his level.
