Pundit Andy Goldstein has taken aim at Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool came up against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals last Wednesday night.
Liverpool were 3-1 down on aggregate heading into the second leg at Anfield. Unfortunately for Liverpool, the aggregate score did not change come the end of the second leg.
Goldstein said (00:23) that Salah had to be the player to stand up for Liverpool against Real Madrid. Goldstein implied that Salah is not a world-class player because he failed to drag Liverpool back into the tie.
Salah has scored 122 goals and registered 45 assists in 196 appearances for Liverpool. The aforementioned figures highlight that the Egyptian international is a world-class player.
One poor game does not change that. The footage below was provided by talkSPORT.
