Although the side was quite active for much of the contest, Paris Saint-Germain was unable to muster up a single goal in its Ligue 1 home fixture against OGC Nice.

Argentine forward Lionel Messi earned a start in the match, where he recorded multiple shot attempts and created several key goal-scoring chances for teammates.

Following the match, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino provided for his evaluation on the forward.

“I always see Leo [Messi] good,” Pochettino said. “A player that has won seven Ballon d’Ors. It’s been said, there is no need to say more. I think it’s a pleasure it’s an honor to have him in our team.”

Messi has so far recorded seven goal contributions in all competitions this season.
